EDIT: This is as low as I wil go. With the new CITES changes, I can now ship international.
This guitar is part of a batch of Collector's Choice #29 (Tamio Okuda) that were repurposed and sold as Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1958 Les Paul – VOS. This is evidenced by the neck profile, faded orange finish, double thumb bridge nuts, metal jack plate, etc. More information can be found on google or just by comparing the specs with the CC #29.
Bought it new from Wildwood Guitars and has been my main playing guitar at home; never left the house. While the guitar shows a bit of fret wear, binding bleed on the neck (very common with LPs) some very minor swirl marks and a nick or two that do not go through the paint; it is in very good condition.
On these revisions the original 57 Classic pickups were replaced by dealer selected custom buckers, which are much more articulate. Finish is a gorgeous "faded orange" sunburst, and the neck profile is a medium size 50s profile with no shoulders, medium thickness, great feel in the hand. Very woody, with that distinct bark you can only get from a well made LP.
With rosewood now easier to ship I am willing to sell internationally.
