Vintage Electra Bass
Here's a vintage Electra Bass, manufactured in Japan in 1981. The serial number is 102299. This bass will ship in a hard case. Total weight comes in at 8 lbs. 12 ozs. There are some dings and chips on the body as well as some light buckle rash on the rear. The body has been finished in a satin, tobacco sunburst. There is light edge wear and discoloration on the sides of the fingerboard. The frets are in good shape. The body appears to be either Swamp Ash or Japanese Sen. The neck is a medium to full rounded "C" shape with a maple cap fingerboard. P-Bass style pickups and a brass nut and bridge round out the hardware. This one has a huge bottom end with rich, thick tone that has a bit of wooliness to the high end of the note. Super cool Japanese vintage right here!
