Atelier Z Baby Z J-4 Left Hand Natural Gloss

Our first Left Handed offering from Atelier Z is this Baby Z-4J in natural gloss. We are calling this a limited edition because Atelier Z does not make a lot of left handed instruments, and rarely do they make the Baby Z available in left handed. This bass is no different in quality, attention to detail, performance, and tone than its bigger brothers except for the body size and the 30" scale length. It features a 3 piece ash body, maple neck with KTS titanium support rods, bone nut, white block inlay, and 19 frets. Tuning machines are Gotoh's GB-1 and the bridge is a Hipshot B-style with a custom 16.5mm string spacing and string through body design. Tone is sculpted by an Atelier Z EQ-J which features volume knobs for front and rear (push/pull passive/active switch) pickups and a stacked bass/treble knob. Atelier Z Baby J pickups complete the package and provide articulate and punchy tones without breaking a sweat. This bass weighs in at 8.6 pounds and is comfortably balanced and a pleasure to play.
