This mic will have a bit of British history. It was owned by Dave Davies of the Kinks and i am told was used extensively by the band back in the 60s> Could even be the Reslo shown in the pic ??? ;) Model: RB/L - Lo z impedance version - RED The same type as used at The Cavern Club by the Beatles and also used on very early David Bowie gigs Vintage made in England around the 1960s Low z 30-50 Ohm This version is a low impedance very low level mic. If you are going to use without the additional step up transformer into a Hi z input then you really want a mic pre with high gain and low noise floor... around 80db would be great Step up transformers can be purchased to go into your DI Hi z mic pre inputs which would give an additional 20db. was tested with my valve mic pre using the correct cables and line
