Riverboat 3 Guitar - Black Cherry Burst

The Riverboat 3, or the R-3 as we like to call her, is the wildside of our Riverboat model. Using the same Semi-Hollow Mahogany Body with Maple top as the Riverboat, the R-3 is taking things to the extremes of her Spanish Curves. Her Solid Mahogany core is the perfect place to mount a , and if we are going to allow her to start bending her notes, we decided to add in another Seymour Duncan pick-up, so in the Neck postion we have a , the original Humbicker design, at the Bridge we have a , and in the Middle a crunchy .

Each of the 3 Seymour Duncan pick-ups on the Dream Studios R-3 have a mini-toggle for on and off, so you can select your own personal combination of voice.  There are 3 volume knobs so you can decide on the amount of attack that each pick up pushes through, and then one master tone control. So what is that extra toggle on the horn then? Well, if you know anything about our nasty ladies, they have a wild side and the R-3 is no different. That extra toggle on the horn is for the , a quick 20db of gain at the flick of a swtich.

So you can see, the R-3 has it's nice demure side and can play some classic rock and blues, or you can get her riled up and she will blast out some of the harshiest and crunchiest tones.

The Dream Studio's R-3 uses the same 22-fret 24.6" scale neck as the Riverboat and the same  tuners on the headstock as the Riverboat, but has an Ebony Capped Fretboard for just a litte more attack.
