Up for sale - a very rare and collectable Rickenbacker! This is a Reissue of the 1965 Rickenbacker Rose Morris 1993 12 string, as played most famously by Pete Townsend in the early Who era The Rose Morris models were distributed in the UK only, and differed from their US counter parts by the distinct f-hole sound hole (rather than the Cats-eye/ slash sound hole) This model was made as a small special run for Norm’s Rare Guitars. Very few were made with the shark tooth inlays/ stereo jack - almost all of the Reissue RM 12s had dot markers and mono jack- so this is super rare, perhaps one of 3 or 4 made on this run This guitar is in near perfect condition, almost zero player wear or scratches. The fireglo color is gorgeous- the finish is in shiny new condition. Excellent burst on this one Perfect playing neck, easy low action The single coil “toaster” pickups are bright and jangly- good volume but not too loud (like most toaster reissues or hi-gains) Double bound beautiful fireglo finish, trapeze tailpiece and Ric deluxe “kluson” style tuning keys (good tight ratio- this guitar stays in tune beautifully) Neck is medium/narrow sized ‘60s very comfortable -this is NOT the clubby/wide neck currently on the 1993 plus/ 660 models, its very much like the necks on the original '60's models, and about the same as on the V and C series reissue 360/12 string models. This model -however, has never (and is not now) been available in the Rickenbacker catalogue - again, this is one off/ rare piece and almost impossible to find.... This is the ultimate ‘60s British power pop/rock Rickenbacker 12 string!
Comes with original vintage silver/ blue liner case
