This is a great playing, versatile and rare Jazz bass. This American made bass was one of the first post-CBS designs. These are generally regarded as one of the best Fender basses of its era. Loaded with a Kubicki designed preamp, Lace sensor jazz pickups and Schaller hardware. A tad lighter than earlier Jazz basses with a smaller body and no pickguard, this bass is sleek. The only issues are a chip in the paint on the side, as shown in the photos, and a bit of discoloration on the rear cavity cover.
