About This Listing

Description

Built with a solid spruce top, mahogany sides and arched mahogany back, the full-bodied and powerful tone of Guild's D-240E dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar provides guitarists with a classic acoustic sound and balanced voicing. Guilds signature arched back design allows for great volume and projection, long sustain and a lush, full sound. The D-240E dreadnought features Guilds Fishman-designed AP-1 electronics, a pau ferro fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, mother-of-pearl rosette, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and a natural matte polyurethane finish.

Product Overview
A classic dreadnought acoustic with electric guitar functionality, Guild’s D-240 E (part of the Westerly Collection) is a hybrid with vibrant and rich tonality. Cosmetically, it features the classic perloid dot inlays and rosette, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and Guild’s vintage-style open-gear tuners. It’s an understated acoustic, but more than capable of filling a musical space with its sound.
