Sporting a lighter weight and thinner bow for an easily explosive character, enlarged bell for greater emphasis on volume and overtones, and a dual lathing process which features a brilliantly lathed inner bow and bell and traditionally lathed outer bow, the Zildjian 18" K Custom Hybrid Crash is a wholly singular creation in the Zildjian family. Developed in tandem with noted jazz drummer Akira Jimbo, this cymbal's immediate attack and quick decay are excellent for sudden bursts through the mix that get out of the way quickly.
