Made in Germany in July 1958
- about 105cm total length, scale lenght approximately 62cm
- redburst arched top with F-holes and multiple celluloide binding, with Framus decal
- redburst archtop body with solid sides, lower bout 41,5cm, center bout 24,5cm, upper bout 30,2cm, sides`hight 8cm
- set Jazz mahogany neck with shafted-on headstock with inlayed pearl discs , number on back 39704-G58 , U shape, quality rosewood fingerboard with radius and celluloide binding, celluloide block inlays, 21 frets + zerofret, original rosewood nut, width at nut 44,5mm
- original tuners (one pegs was renewed)
- high adjustable wooden Teller bridge
- original unique steel tailpiece
- ebonystrap pin
The guitar is fully playble with very good string action (2mm E1 on 12th fret)
There are no cracks or other damages on this rare guitar.
The nck seems to have been reglued once. The job was well done, the connection is bomb-proof and has NO affect on playability or tone of this fine guitar.
The tuners and the bridge are not original and were renewed earlier
The varnish is in age related good condition ad is showing normal harmless signs of the time (f.e. fine laquer cracks - most on the top - vintage factor). Except the tuners and the bridge, the guitar is in original condition
The fingerboard is showing as good as no signs of playing. The frets were rounded and polished. The fingerboard was cleaned and oiled
