Up for sale here is an extremely cool vintage 1961 Maestro GA-1RT Reverb-Echo tube amp, in great shape. Interesting model, about 5 watts from one 6BM8 power tube, just fully serviced. Original Jensen 8" alnico speaker dates to the 49th week of 1961. Original reverb tank dates to the 27th week of 1961. Red jewel light, not the purple shown in the photos. No footswitch, no indication one was ever installed.
The reverb section is driven by the speaker output of another amp, via the 1/4" cable directly into the reverb tank. I used it with a tweed Deluxe and it made the sound huge, a mix of dry Deluxe signal and Maestro with reverb and tremolo. Plugging directly into the top of the amp gives you control over volume and tremolo, also a great sound, very much like a GA-5T.
Works perfectly and sounds awesome, an ideal addition to a recording studio or small live rig. Part of the logo has broken off, so it now reads "Naestro."
