Samick Artist Series SAN-450 semihollow body guitar, made in Korea in the early 2000's. These Artist Series models are renowned for being on par with their more well known, higher priced counterparts. This one has a laminate mahogany body, a bound set mahogany neck, and two vintage output humbuckers that sound fantastic. It has a dark cherry gloss finish that is very striking. Almost looks like wine red to me. It plays and sounds really great. The only issues I know of are: 1. There is a small crack in the finish at the neck heel. I don't believe this to be anything more serious because the guitar still holds tune perfectly and feels solid. My tech looked at it and said it didn't look to be all the way through. Regardless, it's something I'd have checked out before taking it on the road. 2. One of the knobs is missing. 3. The screw to attach the pickguard mount to the pickguard is missing, so I attached them using double sided tape, which does the job. Guitar comes with a hardshell Washburn case that fits it perfectly. Really nice guitar and absolutely on par with an actual 335 in looks, feel and tone. Only selling to help fund another purchase. I just saw one of these exact guitars go for $450. They are certainly worth every penny. My price reflects the small aforementioned issues and is priced to sell quick.
