1970 Martin 0-16NY for sale - Lovely tone and structurally sound with good action, minimal fret ware for it's age, and body is crack free. No bridge lift and neck angle is good. These NY 'reissues' are a fingerpicker's dream, due to their slightly wider nut width, and wonderful projection for their size. This model is also used by many great slide players (see Roy Rogers, for example). (This one does not have the large bridge plate of '70's Martins that some believe can negatively affect tone). We're selling for aunt of a friend who purchased several yrs ago in San Francisco. Owner states she's had silk & steel extra-light strings on it as hobby player. Tuners are non-original Grover USA closed-backs and pick guard is believed to be after-market though appears original/is appropriate size. The owner also states the tuners and pick guard were on it when she purchased. All else appears original and will come in original Martin case (see pic) (case functions fine, though is fairly worn). Cosmetically, there are several nicks /dings and some finish checking, common to vintage- again, see pics. These are wonderful 'reissue' acoustics, with rich histories, that can still be had without breaking the bank, so please research if aren't familiar. Thanks for looking.
