Diezel Herbert Standard Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit with KT88's and KT66's

Another Eurotubes favorite is running the JJ KT66's and KT88's and the Herbert is made for this! This is another all "KT" standard Retube Kit for the Diezel Herbert with KT88's and KT66's! The preamp section uses six ECC83S's with one current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V6.

The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic KT88's and a quad of the KT66's. The KT66's provide that unmistakably complex mid which mixes really well with the fat thunderous sound of the KT88's, together they are very harmonically rich! A great combination!

If you choose to use the KT66's, 6550's or KT88's and your amp has the "Bear Trap" style tube retainers you may want to swap these out for the "Spring and Cap" style retainers. These mount using the same screws as the stock retainers.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.

If you want all the power and fidelity to get from your amp to your speakers then check out our custom made 10 Gauge speaker cables in our Reverb storefront. These cables are the largest cables made and leave no frequency unheard!

The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
