This premium guitar’s solid Sitka Spruce top has been treated with Martin’s proprietary Vintage Tone System (VTS), imbuing it with a “broken in” sound. In addition, its solid Cocobolo back and sides in the Grand Performance cutaway body style impart an exceptional warmth and articulation to this instrument’s overall sound, augmented in the high end by a Black Ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle. In addition, a 25.4” scale satin-finished modified low oval profile select Mahogany neck with 16” radius, performing artist taper and 1 3/4” nut width provides players with effortless playability throughout this guitar’s range.
Martin has topped off this elegant package with such premium appointments as European Flamed Maple top binding, a style 45 soundhole rosette, diamond & squares long pattern select abalone fingerboard inlays, chrome Grover tuning machines and Fishman Aura VT Enhance electronics.
