This Gibson 1952 ES-150 is Owned by Eric Cannata of Young The Giant
As one of Gibson's first successful Electric Spanish (ES) guitars, the ES-150 was groundbreaking instrument in many ways. Like many Gibson guitars the ES-150 experienced a stoppage in production during World War II, and was reintroduced in 1946 with a number of changes. Most notably, the original blade or "Charlie Christian" pickup was replaced with a P-90.
From YTG: This is the first vintage guitar I bought. I used it to record the Young the Giant song Firelight on our album Mind Over Matter. It plays beautifully, and sounds incredible. The original pickup sounds great. I got it professionally set up, so it has new tuners, but i’ll include the original tuners. It also comes with the original case, which is in excellent condition, and has pink interior!
