This is an incredibly rare, straight Buescher True Tone alto saxophone (aka "Stritch") with a detachable neck, manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana in 1926. Having recently been fully rebuilt by Carlo Cennamo of Cennamo Woodwinds with white Roo pads, this alto offers a uniquely wonderful playing experience and a rich depth of tone beyond that found in the curved True Tone altos.
The horn is in excellent condition with immaculate silver plating with no plating wear or body damage from prior repairs. It includes the original long hard-case, also in great condition, and the original Buescher mouthpiece.
