Love 'em or hate 'em, many budding guitarists from the 80's had one of these practice amps when first starting out. Tensolo Music Co. is bringing the nostalgia back with the Tensolo Custom Shop Gorilla TC-35 amp head.

Hook it up to a Tensolo handmade cabinet (8 ohm) and you have a nasty little stack! Great for practice, gigging (mic the cab! May hold up w/out mic in a garage band type situation), studio or wherever you want that vintage Gorilla tone!

Clad in a vintage tweed tolex, this head is ready to throw out some unique tones. Unlike its GG-25 cousin, the TC-35 Tube Cruncher has a higher gain output.

These amps did not come with a speaker out, but no worries, we took care of that for you!

Note:  This is a solid state amp, no tubes.  The designers tried to "replicate" a tube sound, came kind of close, gives it a nice unique gain tone.  To use this with other instruments (band situations) you will want to mic the cab!  Throw some effects pedals in front of this baby and go to town.

Full transparency:  The posts are a little scratchy but everything works great.  I just didn't have the time to clean out the pots perfectly or feel like swapping them out.

I'm going to try and post up some video/audio clips to show off the sound.  When hooked up to a bigger cab (Tensolo handmade cabs!), the sound is completely different than what you remember from the little cheap box and speaker it originally came with.
