If you don't like much grit in your tone and you're after a very smooth and rich sound then this kit will do it. This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Carr Skylark. It uses two Gold Pin ECC83S's to replace the 12AX7's and two Gold Pin ECC81's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V4.

The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic 6V6S's. Classic low power 6V6 tones kicked up a notch! Tighter lows, detailed mids and smooth clipping characteristics. The JJ 6V6S's are in a class by themselves.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
