This is a great Guild in a finish you won't see all that often on the various selling sites for this particular model. It's a beautiful burst finish. There are no issues with this guitar. I also have three D 40's and a D 48 that basically serve the same purpose so I'm letting this one go.
It has no breaks, cracks or separations and extremely light fretwear. I am the 2nd owner of this guitar I believe. It does have two small areas of light wear on each side of the guitar, maybe from sitting on a stand for too long (not me, before my time), that perhaps could be buffed out if so desired but it never bothered me in the least. The gold Grover tuning machines do show tarnish but work just fine. The OHSC is in really nice shape as well and the handle and all latches work as they should. This one comes with factory installed electronics with the volume and tone knob on the top of the guitar near the neck.
Here are some specifics on the guitar:
-Solid Spruce top in a lovely burst finish
-Chesterfield logo on the headstock
-Solid Mahogany back and sides
-Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays
-Rosewood bridge
-Really pretty rosette
-Mahogany neck
-Grover tuning machines
-Perfect neck angle
-Low E string height between 3/32" and 7/64" with boatloads of saddle should you want it any lower
-Virtually no fret wear
-OHSC also in great shape
This is just a flat out classy guitar I'm sure any player would be more than happy with.
