Hamer Standard Mahogany 1997 USA

This is a 1997 USA Hamer Standard Mahogany. it has a one piece mahogany body and a 3 piece mahogany set neck with a rosewood fingerboard. the guitar is in very good condition for being 22 years old. there are a couple of small dings. nothing through the finish. the guitar weighs under 9 lbs and is very light for it's size and body shape. the neck is a medium D shape and feels very good in your hands. the frets are in very good condition, no divots or heavy wear spots. the pickups are Wolfetone Marshallheads that were wound for this guitar with nickel covers. the bridge saddles are graph tech. the control knobs are 80's Hamer Blitz style knobs i received from Hamer. the original white pick guard and a brand new black pick guard are also included. the schaller tuners have rosewood buttons. the case is in very good condition also. a few marks here and there but all latches and hinges work perfectly.  the guitar sounds amazing and has a really great tone. i have owned this guitar since 2001 or so and am just downsizing. not very many of these around. there is an insignificant amount of "hameritis" visible on 2 sides of the neck joint. it is where the finish delaminated from the stain. it is easy to fix with an xacto knife and thin super glue but it never bothered me so i left it. it is very common on USA Hamers from this era.
