If you don't like much grit in your tone and you're after a very smooth and rich sound then this kit will do it. This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Carr Mercury. It uses two Gold Pin ECC83S's to replace the 12AX7's along with a Gold Pin ECC81 for V2.

The power tube is a premium tested JJ Electronic KT66. The JJ KT66's have that classic British flavor. They have a very thick and rich sound with lots of harmonic complexity and a wonderfully smooth breakup when driven into saturation.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
