Email from Jay Wolfe before I bought this guitar in 2004 in Florida:
"The guitar is brand new & never played, nor hung up for display in our shop. It's in my personal collection. Twenty of them were made that year. It was only made for the one year.“
This model, the "Millennium Eagle 2000" is the same model Wolfgang Muthspiel has (watch YouTube videos, links above).
New Millennium Eagle 2000 in Honey Blonde finish, Seymour Duncan vintage type humbuckers, all gold hardware, ULTRA flamed woods package with extremely highly figured top & back. Top & back are arched and solid carved maple.
Ebony fingerboard with abalone block inlays. Gold Imperial Grover tuners, ebony fingerboard with eagle inlaid on the larger peghead. This custom is a 2000 year model - unsold, from my personal collection. Never displayed nor played, a brand new 2000 model with the finest woods.
Back & top are carved from "solid" AAAA grade flamed maple (no plywood's here)
finish is nitro-cellulose lacquer - NO Plastic poly here
Fingerboard is Ebony with Abalone inlays Headstock inlays are the Heritage logo, and a beautiful Eagle. Tuners are Grover gold plated Imperial button Rotomatics.
Pickups are Seymour Duncan's toneful Seth Lovers- gold plated.
The guitar is a new Heritage model- Millennium EAGLE 2000 with optional:
- Antique Natural finish color
- ULTRA flamed maple back & top
- Seymour Duncan gold covered vintage type AlNiCo magnet humbuckers
- Ebony fingerboard with Abalone block inlays
- All Gold Plated hardware
- Serial number Q07601"
Millennium Eagle 2000 specs:
Neck – 17 degree peghead pitch; three piece curly maple neck; single white bound mother of pearl inlaid head veneer with the Heritage and an eagle in pearl.
Fingerboard – 24 ¾” scale ebony white bound fingerboard with 22 frets; abalone block inlays.
Body – Single cutaway, semi-solid body with solid carved multiple white bound curly maple top; single white bound solid carved curly maple back and solid rim; no pickguard; with f-holes; body size: rim thickness – 1 ¾”, body width – 13 ¼”, body length – 17 5/8”.
Electronics – Two gold Duncan Seth Lover pickups; selector switch in the horn; two volume and two tone controls.
Hardware – Individual gold plated Grover Imperial machine heads; gold plated Heritage bail tailpiece and adjustable bridge.
Color - Honey Blonde
There are even better cables inside compared to the ones which were there when bought.
Comes with the brand original hard case.
