Rare, Vintage 1991 PCM 16 part multi-timbral expandable synthesizer workstation by Roland. This synth is GM and GS midi-compatible. The unit includes an incredible array of instrument sounds including world instruments. Every sound is editable and can be stored as user sounds. The drum sounds are very realistic and rival the quality of contemporary dedicated drum machines. The number of percussion sounds and effects available are greater than most dedicated drum and machines. The dozens of drum sets included in the machine are also user-editable.

This is a very user-friendly synthesizer. The string, horn and wind sections are very convincing and accessed by one touch. The keyboard split feature gives you the ability to play strings with your right hand and horns with your left, for example, or any other combination of sounds you care to do. The user determines the keyboard split point. This unit makes a great workstation for making song demos or for live performance. This unit has been used lightly, was well cared for and is in working condition.
