This is a very rare and highly desirable Barcus Berry Hi-Tek Mandolin Pickup made in the mid to late-'80s. These quickly became very popular with acoustic and resophonic players. They only made these for a short while before Barcus-Berry changed the design, which changed its thickness and great sound.
This one works and sounds perfectly. It's everything you'd expect out of this. It comes with its original plastic input jack. It's Model 2540
