The Parabola borrows its sound from the Schaller tremolo units of the 60s, with a variety of tone shaping options including Caroline's effective 'Havoc' mode and their beloved Invader preamp. The left toggle offers two distinct types of tremolo: Frequency- a smooth filtered tremolo that offers just a tinge of harmonic effect, or Amplitude- which is a choppy, dramatic tremolo that pays proper tribute to the German made units this one references. One great way to use this pedal is as an always-on preamp! When you want tremolo just engage the momentary 'Havoc' footswitch! As an overdrive/preamp alone this pedal is worth the price of admission. You'll have a tough time turning this one off!
