This is a vintage, and super rare, FET & Silicon Transistar Amplifier - likely from the late 1970s. This little guy rules! And yes, it is "Transistar". Made in Japan, this compact amp is light and stands at a stout 18" high. It has 3 inputs, master volume, master tone, and foot-switchable tremolo and reverb. It pushes somewhere between 20-30 solid state Watts through a 6" speaker. It has a ton of flavor for a transistor amp, and sounds killer when cranked! The spring reverb adds cool dimension, and the tremolo some motion. Excellent recording amp with vintage FET tone. Really clean cosmetic condition, too. Be sure to check out the demo below to hear clean, trem, reverb, overdrive, etc!
