MCI Guitorgan B-35 1978 Cherry - Guitar Organ (Vox, Aria, Farfisa)

Vintage 1970s Musiconics MCI Guitorgan B-35 Guitar Organ – Rare Complete and Works Great!

You are looking at a super rare late 70s/early 80s Musiconics B-35 Guitorgan. There is plenty of info out there on these wild instruments made in Waco Texas by MCI company, so do a quick Google search if you’re unfamiliar with these. In my opinion, they were the best guitar/organ hybrid made (and I’ve owned them all…).

It’s rare to find a fully working Guitorgan and even harder to find one of the late model B-35s, especially in cherry red. I have owned nearly a dozen of these guitars over the years, and held onto this one because it’s the best playing/sounding example I’ve ever had of the best-looking model they made (in my opinion). These were built into the body of an Aria Pro II ES-345 copy instead of the clunkier Univox type guitars that came before this one. MCI would also build these into any guitar you sent them, I've even seen real Gibson models created. 

It plays great as a guitar and all of the organ components and frets work flawlessly, it plays perfectly in standard E tuning, as designed. This Guitorgan needs nothing except to be enjoyed and played often than I’m able to. Since the frets are so critical on these models, it’s important to note that all of the frets are in good shape with only minimal wear in the first few frets. All of the organ notes sound great and the functions (drawbars, effects, “open chord” near the nut) all work great with no issues.

There is a small crack in the backside near one of the cavity screws for the organ components – these are nearly par for the course on B-35 Guitorgans since it’s a weak spot, and there is some shrinkage and discoloration on the binding near the cutaways (top/bottom). Overall minor stuff considering the rarity of this model.
