Squier by Fender Desert Sand with Anodized Pickguard in excellent condition has been upgraded with a set of Fralin Steel Pole 43 pickups, Glendale Brass Intone Cutting Edge compensated saddles, Dunlop Straploks and locking tuning machines. Comes with a guitar strap. This a great playing short scale (24”) guitar. The Fralin Steel Pole pickups are single coil sized, so they drop in without any need to modify the body of the guitar, but have P90 style construction, i.e., the poles are adjustable steel screws with a bar magnet at the base of the poles. The coils are made with 43 gauge copper wire. These pickups have great clarity and are more dynamic than the stock pickups. They have more mid-range than a stock Strat pickup, and are brighter than a P90.
