Here we have a 1969 Sunn Sceptre in near mint condition. I haven't ever seen another Sunn in this good of condition. The original owner kept the amp in a studio for its whole life prior to me owning it. I have also kept it in my studio since purchasing it, only using it here and there. It was just re-tubed and biased the other day at Specimen Products here in Chicago. This amp has a really clean bill of health, but as routine maintenance the amp has had a lot of the capacitors replaced, new wiring to the reverb tank, and a new output transformer and choke. All of the replacement parts of of very high quality. The amp currently has Sovtek 6550's, JJ GZ34, and NOS GE 12ax7 based pre-amp tubes.
