The Latch Lake micKing 1100 tripod mic stand continues on the company's tradition of building the best mic stands possible, incorporating features from the bigger micKing stands in a compact package that can fit under your arm or in the back seat of your car. A newly developed tripod base and stackable counterweight system make for a sturdy, stable boom stand that rivals the micKing 2200 and 3300. The patented Latch Lake boom clutch remains on this smaller micKing and is as strong as they come, offering more clampable surface area than any other stand on the market. Also in play is the innovative Lever Lock system for telescoping different sections of the stand to get it as tall or short as you need on the straight or boom section of the stand. Though it can fold up to be less than three feet when broken down, the micKing 1100 can also extend far enough to handle any high vocal boom,drum overhead or room mic applications.
