For sale is this Bach Stradivarius Lightweight 180S72*/43 ML Bore Bb trumpet including a hard shell case and Blackburn Sonare 3C mouthpiece.
It has a lightweight body and a lightweight bell (denoted with a STAR stamped below the bell hallmark). The serial number is 373xxx which dates this horn to circa 1990-1993.
The combination of the 72* lightweight bell and the 43 leadpipe make this a very open trumpet with great projection and a brighter sound.
Its silver plated finish shows some plating wear with a few scratches (see photos).
There are a few very tiny dings but no dents, re-solders, patches, or red rot to be concerned about.
The valve action is quick and smooth. The compression is excellent. All valve tuning slides move freely including the main tuning slide.
Its hard shell case shows a great deal of wear on its exterior but the interior is in quite good shape. There are two missing feet on the outside of the case. Both front latches close to securely house the trumpet for transport.
