About This Listing

(USED) Fans of Koa, feast your eyes!  This Santa Cruz 000 has some of the most drool-worth Koa we've ever seen, with incredible tight flame and stunning visual depth.

This custom 000 from SCGC is might fine, with an Adirondack spruce top, the aforementioned killer Koa, and understated yet elegant vintage cosmetics.  It's a long scale guitar, with 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  The neck is a very comfortable, shallow mod-V with a satin finish.  Ebony fingerboard, bridge, pins and peghead overlay.  The guitar is fully bound in ivoroid, and the gold tuners are by Waverly.  Cutaway gets you to the uppermost frets, good if you're a jazzbo!

The condition is excellent for its almost 20 years, with a few shallow pick dings on the upper bout on the bass side of the sound hole, a few string scratches on the peghead, and one lacquer chip on the back of the peghead (pictured).  It has nice medium/low action as it is, and a big tall saddle... you can dial this beauty in however you like.  No fret wear.

The sound is smooth and warm, definitely not your average Koa guitar!  Includes original hard case.
