I had originally posted this guitar as a Fender American Standard Tele - I was incorrect. I called Fender directly for verification and was told that this was a Guitar Center exclusive USA Professional Standard Telecaster, which should have a humbucker in the bridge. The previous owner had modified the pick guard and bridge pickup to a single coil. The neck pickup is stock and has a nice fat sound, the bridge pickup has been swapped for a Lindy Fralin overwound (9400 turns) bridge pickup which sounds really fat and strong. This Tele is super clean....One small ding along the edge (pictured). The case is a Fender USA case from a time when the cases were of higher quality. Ships to the continental US only.
