We put this kit together just for Blues players! This is our Blues Option Retube Kit and it contains a premium matched quad of JJ EL84's in a hotter grade for power along with a standard ECC83S for V1, an ECC832 for V2 which drops the gain and makes the drive channel sound more open and natural, and a graded high current ECC83S for V3. A real nice combination!
Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
