Peavey Classic 30 "Low Output" Tweed Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit

Want that vintage Tweed tone with lots of headroom and an earlier breakup from the power tubes? This is our Low Output Tweed Option. This kit contains a premium matched quad of JJ Electronic EL844's to drop the overall output a couple decibels, a JJ 12AY7 for V1, a standard ECC83S's for V2 along with a high current ECC83S for V3. The Tweed Option drops the preamp gain a bit more than the SRV option allowing even more power tube breakup from the EL844's.

This Retube Kit is plug and play with no bias worries. These are completely different tubes than the stock tubes your amp came with. The JJ EL844's are a proprietary tube that JJ Electronic built at the request of Eurotubes.

The dissipation of the JJ EL844 is 25% less than a standard EL84 so using the EL844's will reduce the power a little in your amp.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
