1978 Soviet Kazan Booster based

The Kult Fuzz is a refined version of the 1978 Kazan Booster and sports a thick ripping vintage fuzz tone much like a MK1 Tone Bender and Dizzy Tone.
Capturing the psychedelic fuzz sound of the 60's and 70's.

Rich and heavily colored fuzz distortions with buzzy overtones, spanning from woolly & brassy to raspy and reedy to energetic asymmetrical square waves.
It has the 'raw electric tone' that many 60's units have and unlike many others it still sounds good after prolonged use.

There is a post-fuzz filter to pan between a buzzy high and a darker low.
The filter is a unique design and incorporates germanium diodes , these contribute to the fuzz tone adding a buzz when the filter is opened up defining the high frequency fuzz tones.

The fuzz depth is driven by the guitars volume control and will clean up to a degree adding a nice vintage tone to low level signals.
Working well on all types of pick-ups with the hotter ones giving a higher energy fuzz.

It also works well in a fuzz chain and can be placed before or after other fuzz and boosters.
As this is a input driven unit many different tones can be realized by the use of different guitars and signal paths.

The resulting fuzz waveform shape is similar to a tube fuzz , an asymmetrical trapezoid / saw , much like a cross of both the Fuzz Face and Tone Bender MK1.
This gives the sound that is like the result of two fuzz units.

It has the classic psychedelic fuzz sounds, a unique circuit design & its own special flavor that is quite unlike any other.
