This is an exceptional Greco copy of 70's Fender Strat made by Fujigen for the Kanda Shokai Company. It was made in March 1981 during the Greco Super Real lineup. Google "EGF-1200, DRY-Z"and "Super Real" to see what the fuss is about. These guitars were so good Fender joined up with Yamano Music and Kanda Shokai to create Fender Japan with Fujigen making the guitars from April 1982.
- 3-pc Sen (Japanese ash) body with maple fretboard - Frets and hardware are in good condition for a 38 year old strat. There is a little bit of fret wear noticeable in places (see photos). - Neck is straight set with some relief. Truss rod nut moves left and right. -Thin poly finish, original electronics with highly-regarded Alnico Maxon pickups. - 5-way selector switch - Neck pitch is adjustable in the same way as 70's Fenders (allen key not included) - Comes with original tremolo bar, 4 tremolo springs - Will ship with an old Japanese soft case
The finish on the guitar is thin poly and it has some scratches and dents. Please look at the photos carefully as I have tried to show indications of the wear the best I can in the photos. This is a 38 year old guitar. Persons looking for a cosmetically mint-condition guitar should take a pass!
