Late 60s Traynor YVM-1, second edition of this model with the metal knobs and 6CA7 power section. 4/8/16 ohm switching output transformer.

I've modified this amp to have a JCM800-like gain staging with channels 3 and 4 cascaded. You can dial the volume controls for 3/4 individually to adjust how one drives the other. Channels 1 and 2 were left stock but since a cathode follower was added for more gain later in the amp they aren't super clean either. Has a baxandall/james type bass-treble EQ. I used it for bass but it absolutely rips on guitar.

Amp has had a complete cap job as well as a solid update/rebuild of the power supply, bias supply, grounded 3 prong plug, safety cap, etc.

The preamp tubes are a mix of old stock and the 6CA7s are a pair of Japanese made Raytheons. They test good and sound great in the amp but I also have a matched paid of spare JJ 6CA7s.

Did a quick cell phone video a while back, the amp stays set the same, just dialed back the input with a volume pedal.
