Beautifully maintained example of these extremely high quality constructed guitars from either the Matsumoku or Yamaki plants in Japan. This is from the golden age of Japanese guitar building. The neck is a five piece Maple/Rosewood/Maple neck thru body-with ebony fingerboard; the body is ash with a rosewood arched top. Beautiful cream binding all around. Brass nut and brass saddles, string thru body bridge. The neck is perfect, the frets show no wear. There are only a couple of small areas (on the back edge) where there is damage to the finish. I have taken close photos of those. Otherwise this guitar looks like it is new. Two humbuckers with push/pull pots for splitting. They are pretty high output; sound warm and clear when played clean and really shine in high gain situations. They have a very good split coil sound with relatively little volume drop. The case is a tweed Washburn case in very good condition- I can only assume it's the original. Buyer pays actual shipping cost. (which may be less than the listed cost)
