I am the original owner of this guitar and was lucky enough to pick it up through my buddy who works at Guitar Center in Los Angeles, I was able to try out literally 20 '57 Reissues and this was my pick of the bunch. If you guys know Gibson Custom Shop 2013 forward you know the quality of this build!
Extremely resonant guitar. Described as "Excellent" very conservatively. This guitar is a case queen and has had very little play in its short life, it is in excellent/mint condition. Currently strung with 9s, All Original Plastics Are Included (Original switch ring with all original screws/washers, pickguard, etc. are in the case) along with a ton of case candy, and the original the $4499 Guitar Center sales tag from original purchase. Picked out of a Lot of 57' RI's at Guitar Center for Playability and Light-weighted-ness. Weighs out estimated at about around 8 1/2 pounds on my digital scale. Aside from one little ding (not through the paint, and hardly detectable) on the top and a couple some light buckle rash (not through the lacquer), I can not find where this guitar is anything other than in like-new condition. If you have any more in depth/detailed questions about the condition of the Les Paul please ask. I can put switch ring & pickguard back on before shipping or you can do it yourself easily when receiving the guitar. Save yourself well over $1000 in purchase price and tax on a almost new Gibson '57 Historic Gold Top.
