This is a beautiful vintage 1936 A-1. A true piece of New York and luthier history. This guitar has rich resonant tones and simple but sharp looks to compliment them.
Mahogany neck, spruce top with figured maple back and sides.
This guitar has an older refinish, the neck has been re-set and new binding all around. It plays great and has no structural problems.
There are some dings and dents/minor cosmetic wear around the guitar. Has some small cracks that have been repaired and checked.
The headstock does NOT have a break. There is a small beauty mark in the wood, upon inspection and check under blacklight there is zero crack or issues. Detailed photos are provided.
