Dynaco MK III Monoblocks (Pair)

Own a pair of fabulous sounding, fully refurbished 60W Dynaco Mk III mono-blocks. 

These amps use the famous David Hafler line of "Super High Fidelity Output
Transformers" All original transformers. The power and output transformers and tubes on this pair of amps is worth the price alone.  

The amps were refurbished using a design by Alan Kimmel and Welbourne Labs. Kimmel and Welbourne collaborated in the early 90's. The work included the 
replacement of all the old components, caps, resistors, hardware as well as
replacing the tube rectifier with a fully regulated B+ and Bias supply. ( B+
supply can be reverted back to using 5U4 tube if requested. ) Matched
Russian 6550's, individual bias pots [can also use KT-88's] and driver stage tubes (6U8A and 12AX7) are included. The amp cages (screen covers) are missing and are not included.

The tube sockets were upgraded with new silver/ceramic replacements. All wiring was done using silver solder and Teflon coated wire. These amps are fully functional, biased and ready to go. The output is configured for 8 ohm speakers, This can be changed to your preference (4,8 or 16 ohm).
