This is not a real one. It is a copy. Reverb won't even let me tell you what it isn't but if you're reading this you know.

I was told by the person that sold it to me that it was a personal handmade copy, but my personal assessment is that this is certainly a chinese copy. If this isn't an immediate deal breaker for you, here is the rest of the 'bad,' before I get into the 'good.'

The Bad:

It is by far my most worn-in guitar, as evidenced by the dings included in the photos.

The look is off a bit- most notably the notch on the outer left half of the headstock being absent...this is what makes me believe this is a china-built guitar since this is a common thing they miss.

The neck is not what you would expect from this type of instrument- more of a Fender type neck than an Ibanez Wizard. Pro or con, you decide.

The fretboard wood is suspect. I was told it was Ebony, but it definitely isn't; and my suspicion is that it's more likely Rosewood that was dyed. That said, the dye job is pretty good.

Most notably, the bridge appears to be off-center. However, I haven't noticed any intonation issues and I've had a luthier tell me it should be fixable without any cosmetic damage if one were so inclined.

The Good:

I put a lot of work into this guitar. It plays very well now and I frequently grabbed it over other mid to high end guitars that I've owned.

The bridge has been upgraded to a hipshot, the tuners have been replaced with locking tuners, and the pickups have been upgraded to a pair of DiMarzio Titans.

The copy is good enough that if you're a fan of this aesthetic but are not in a position to own one, you would likely be satisfied.

The neck is very satisfying to play on, and feels much, much better than I would have expected. I am not typically one for thicker necks, but this feels perfect. Thick enough to have something to really grab onto, but not too thick to where it's uncomfortable or challenging to play fast runs on.

I'm really trying to talk you out of this sale because I know a lot of you are going to be incredibly pre-disposed to thinking this is a just a block of wood. There is nothing left out of this description. If I haven't lost you yet, this is as bad as it gets.

Please feel free to ask me any questions at all you may have about it! I've enjoyed this guitar for roughly 7 years now and it's served me well the whole time. I'm starting to find myself with less time to play lately and have made the decision to start downsizing my collection.

Currently set up in Drop Bb, but currently needs new strings and a fret polish anyway; so let me know what you play and what you want it tuned to and I'll clean, polish, and string it up for you before shipping.

I'm also willing to let this go for $200 without the Titans if that's something you're interested in. I have the original pickups that will be included (but not installed) if you opt for this. Message me if this is the route you'd like to take.
