For sale is a very rare 1960's Gibson Kalamazoo KG-2a Electric Guitar with original case. In the 1960's Gibson sought to make an affordable line of bolt-on neck guitars, and the Kalamazoo USA line was born. The Kalamazoo KG-2a made its first appearance in 1968, featuring an SG style body, two single coil pickups, tremolo bridge with walrus tooth style trem arm, rosewood, open back tuners, 3 way pickup switch, two tone and two volume knobs. Comes with the original case. I would say the guitar is in great condition for its age. There is a repaired chip in the pickguard as seen in the last photo, doesn't affect playability at all. Please view photos carefully, this item is sold as is. We will professionally package and ship anywhere in the continental United States, and also available for local pickup at Tommy's Guitars and Trading Post 2548 W. Chicago Ave Chicago IL.
