Rare Marshall Model 2000, only a few hundred made. 2 channel amp, channel 1 is all plexi, channel 2 is similar to my JCM800, and sounds great .... 250 watts, 6 6550 tubes, 6 preamp tubes, effects loop, 3 inputs , footswitch input, huge iron (and heavy ) ..  Tubes have a lot of life, only mod is that both channels are internally jumpered , so you can have one or the other, or blends, and can be undone, but I live on the JCM800 channel, with the Plexi volume at zero ....  Cont US only (please email for exceptions) ...

From the Marshall website ....
The 2000 amplifiers have the distinction of being the most powerful Marshalls ever built. Introduced as both Lead and Bass versions with the JCM 800 amps in April 1981, the 2000s were claimed to have an output power in excess of 200 watts for the lead amp and 300 for the bass. At the onset of clipping, however, the power was closer to 250 and 375 watts, respectively. They were developed with help from many major rock bands, notably AC/DC, and the extensive features they offered were a major departure from the classically simple designs of other marshalls"

"2000 Lead:
The 2000 lead was a twin-channel amplifier (channels were called A and B), with channel A based upon the sound and facilities of the standard 1959, with twice the output power, and channel B employing master volume. The two channels could be mixed together, as well as being foot-switchable. Channel A had the traditional array of Marshall controls-prescence, bass, middle, treble, and volume- while channel B had preamp gain, treble, middile, middle sweep, bass, and master volume. The purpose of the mid sweep was to optimize the sound produced by different guitars.
It was on the back panel where things got quite advanced. Effects units could be patched into either or both channels, and a preamp jack allowed this circuit to be linked with other systems. An XLR socket carried the DI signal, for which there was also an earth lift switch for connection to a mixer. The loudspeaker connectors offered not only jack but also XLR outputs, and the standby and power switches were also on the back panel.
It was a valve (tube) design throughout, and the lineup included six 6550 output valves and six ECC83 preamp valves, although the first versions had KT77's.
