The Thrasher is Randall’s all-tube premium guitar amplifier. It boasts 120 watts of pure heavy metal mayhem, but don’t think it’s a one trick pony! This 2-channel beast is jam packed with pro-level features like discreet High, Low and overall Gain controls with foot-switchable gain Boost. That’s 4 levels of precise gain layering! Flexible tone shaping (on both channels) is achieved with standard Bass, Middle, Treble controls and extended with Presence and Density power amp voicing. Additionally, there’s a 3-way Shift switch which shifts the frequency point of the tone stack to help dial in the amp to different speaker types and room sizes. Channel 2 has a discreet Gain control to add some grit and a Bright switch to boost your sparkle factor. The Thrasher is also equipped with a Serial/Parallel Effects Loop with a Send Level control, Test Point/Tube Bias controls and Line Outputs with Emulated (XLR) and Raw (1/4”) connection jacks. A 2-button LED foot-switch is also included. A truly flexible, amp able to deftly handle modern metal to classic rock, Randall’s Thrasher sets new standards for modern tube amplification.
