Telecaster® Single Pickup 3-Way Control Plate UpgradeOur 3-Way Control Plate is far from stock. Pre-wired and drop-in ready, it's based on the classic single bridge pickup Telecaster® wiring mod. Consider our Control Plate the ultimate upgrade to polish and improve your tone.
Components- 1 - Chrome Control Plate
- 2 - Chrome Knurled Flat Knobs
- 2 - 920D Custom 450G Series 250K Pots by CTS
- 1 - Genuine CRL USA 3-Way Switch with Black Switch Tip
- 1 - .047 Orange Drop Capacitor by Sprague Electric
- 1 - 3300 pF Ceramic Capacitor
- 1- Pure Tone Output Jack
- 920D Custom Signature Wiring by Gavitt Wire
- Position 1: Pickup is routed through volume control only. Tone control bypassed - resulting in a hotter, louder lead sound with extra highs
- Position 2: Pickup is routed through the volume and tone controls. Sounds a little warmer than Position 1
- Position 3: Pickup is routed through a single capacitor and volume control - bypassing the tone control again
