Guild guitars are some of the best built, sweetest sounding acoustics that money can buy. The fact that they're also a great bargain and relatively easy on the wallet is just added incentive to put one in your gigging rotation. This GAD-JF30 is no exception and a worthy torch bearer of the Guild name. Constructed with a Sitka Spruce top, AAAA flame maple back and sides, a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard and Grover tuners, this Guild has the hardware and specs that real players demand in a premium acoustic. Weighing in at 5 lb. 2 oz., this JF30 is pretty clean overall but does show some light play wear. There's some finish swirling, pick marks, small dings and impressions, but overall, nothing noteworthy or eye catching. She still shows really well. The frets are in good condition and show only some minor wear. Tonally, it's everything that you'd want from a jumbo bodied acoustic; big, loud, clear and sweet with a massive and imposing voice. If you're ready for a good acoustic and are more swayed by top notch woods, impressive build quality and professional tone, this Guild GAD-JF30 is a great buy.
