UPDATE:
For all you people watching this guitar (28, apparently), by 02/07/2019, I will have part-exchanged this guitar for a new one. If you have any real interest, now is the time to make an offer!
All questions and offers welcome.
Hello fret wizards,
I am selling an Ibanez PGM10TH
Made in a limited run 2002 to celebrate 10 years of Paul Gilbert and Ibanez
Highlights:
Wizard neck
- one piece maple
- 25 jumbo frets
- bound rosewood fingerboard
- pearl/abalone block inlays
Mahogany body
- hard maple top
Two dimarzio tone zone humbuckers & one Jem-single pickup
Mods:
This guitar has been slightly modified. It baffled me why anyone would not want a tone control (especially since this makes a fantastic jazz guitar), so the volume pot was replaced with a stacked pot - volume outer, tone inner. The 5-way selector was re-wired like any super-strat standard. I have included the old wiring diagram in case you are particularly bothered about things being exactly stock - I would consider re-wiring it also.
Damage:
The top, neck and headstock are close to pristine.
The body has some chips around the back edges, hard to photograph. The gold hardware (as always, sadly) is tarnished, but works without issue.
Personal:
On a personal note, this is the single best neck I have ever played - I can't say why, it just is.
The tone zones sound incredible - squealing bridge, singing neck. The Jem middle pickup is mostly just a way of accessing other tones I think - sounds a bit Hendrix-y on its own, but I rarely use it.
I am happy to negotiate on shipping etc - if you can find shipping cheaper than I have listed then I am open to discussion about it.
Questions welcome
